MBUX is an intuitive and intelligent multimedia operating system that is used in several new Mercedes-Benz vehicles like the 2020 CLA mentioned above. MBUX features a comprehensive touch operation which includes a touchscreen, touchpad on the center console and Touch-Control Buttons in the steering wheel. The idea is to create an in-car environment with less driver distraction. Just as Siri helps you on your iPhone, voice control in your Mercedes will be: “Hey Mercedes,” and it understands virtually every command with MBUX's Linguatronic (natural speech recognition). It can even understand non-native speakers better. This technology will equip your Mercedes with vehicle locating to help you find your parked car easier and will message you in the event of something bumping into your parked car or if it is being towed. Seating position, ambient lighting, favorite radio station, and orientation of the navigation map can be saved in a profile that will be ready for you every time you get into the vehicle.
