Santa Rosa Mercedes-Benz Auto Repair

I grew up in the automobile business. My family were new and pre-owned dealers in the SF Bay Area. As a result, I think I know enough to be dangerous or worse when it comes to automotive repair and service. When I first moved to Sonoma from Marin, I took my M-Bs to Smothers. My experience with them was continually frustrating. They could never get anything right the first time; sometimes not even the second time. As nice as they are, they're simply inept. I was fortunate that more than one acquaintance in the business referred me to Paul Duckworth at CK Auto. I always liked working with an owner-operator. They have everything on the line as opposed to a grease-monkey working for an over-priced and over-rated dealer who has nothing invested and will end up working at Volvo next week. Paul is personable and professional. I'm confident in his abilities with each of my Mercedes including the AMG. If you own a Mercedes-Benz and reside in Sonoma County, I couldn't recommend any facility, factory or independent, as highly as CK Auto.

So, first impressions are very important to my wife and I, especially when it comes to business relationships. Paul could not be more hospitable, helpful and courteous than he has been. Even on the phone he is really nice and a wealth of knowledge. When I finally did bring my wife's ML430 into the shop, Paul gave me a thorough walk through of what needed to be done and the time and expense to do it. He is happy to go the extra mile to make sure that everything is in good working condition. Before I met Paul, I was under the impression that any MB mechanic will hang you by your ankles to shake the money out of you as soon as you set foot in their shop. That is the exact opposite of how you are treated as a customer at CK Auto. First, they fix your car....THEN they shake you upside down! But seriously, they are the best! From my own experiences with them I can highly recommend their work to anyone with a Mercedes Benz.

I have a (Mercedes built) Dodge Sprinter and have been searching for a shop to service it in Santa Rosa. CK was the third shop that I have tried and the first one I wanted to go back to. I have since been back a couple of more times and each time I've been dealt with honestly and fairly. My sprinter has a minor issue which other shops have tried to charge me a lot of money for but at CK they acknowledge it's just something to keep an eye on but it could be no problem for many years so why spend money on it? I feel confident I'm getting dealt with honestly when I go there and they always take the time to explain what it is they want to do.

5 stars! trust me paul deserves all 5! This Place has been my family's go to for years. Paul gives you such a better deal on service your Mercedes Benz than the dealership does and the service quality- much better. This place is located off Petaluma HIll Road next to APE appliances, not the easiest place to spot if you dont know where to look for it- i myself have driven past it a few times on my way there.. But I definitely recommend this to any MB owner. Paul gives fast service, he always has my cars ready by the time I ask for them, hes super friendly, and doesn't try to rip you off! he knows his stuff- Ive been coming here for years and plan to keep bringing my MB's here.

I am a resident of San Francisco and never can justify going to the dealership. CK Auto is the right way to go! Reasonable prices, will never overcharge, does the job right the first time. Very welcoming and friendly shop, fast service and knowledgeable about what they are doing.
