I drive an 8yr old Mercedes. Someone lost a tire in on coming traffic. I was the 5th car to hit it on the freeway. I took it on dead center like a hockey puck. It shattered the rack n pinion, it tore out the radiator, evaporator, power steering cooler, broke the alternator, cracked the sub frame, broke the motor mounts and more. Every time he dug a little deeper he found something else. The adjuster couldn't see all this, Of course the insurance company had to send someone out to check. Paul laid out all the parts, showed them the damage. He then proceeded to secure all the correct parts and re assemble my car to spec. He called me along the way and kept me posted on how it was proceeding. I got my car back in a reasonable amount of time considering all the parts he had to order and the insurance company bs. My car was fully serviced and to spec. I would swear it drove better than it ever has. Paul is honest, diligent and a stand up guy. I put a license frame with his shop number on it. If you have any Mercedes, CK is the only shop to consider in North Bay. Thank you Paul! Paul at CK Auto Exclusive was my Mercedes mechanic for years. I owned a SLK 320 that I loved. He maintained it and kept it running like the well-made machine it was. I was very happy to find an auto mechanic that I could trust and always count on. When I sold that car and bought another brand I told Paul I was going to miss him. Paul is another jewel in the Santa Rosa community!! Most people really enjoy owning a Mercedes Benz, until something breaks and its time to repair it. Instant anxiety about the cost of fixing all that "crazy computer stuff" in the engine or the thought of expensive foreign parts......... Well, that was me until I was referred to Paul at CK Auto when my car needed service. Not only did Paul take the time to explain the repairs needed & what may have caused the damage to happen, but he also set down at his desk, hopped on his computer and shopped around on line to help locate the replacement parts at the best offered prices that he could find! SERIOUSLY, who does that? That was my first time at his shop and he didn't know me at all yet he treated me like a person and not just some naive customer that he could squeeze the pockets of. He obviously saw a guy that needed to get his vehicle back on the road and he wanted to help make that happen. Now obviously, when you need professional assistance in any industry and you get referred to an honest person with rich integrity, who happens to be extremely knowledgeable, there is no need to look any further. That being said, over the last 6 years I've consistently gone back to CK Auto for all my minor & major repairs. Each experience has always been the same. ALWAYS! Honest, quality work, and timely.
